About Roundups & Other Events
Alcoholism recovery support is also available in the form of periodic sobriety conventions known as "round-ups".
Such roundups provide a great way for gay men and lesbian alcoholics in recovery from different locales to come together for joint meetings, workshops, and to hear featured speakers share their personal experience, strength, and hope for recovery from alcohol addiction and tips for sober living.
Travel to interesting travel destinations can also be a fun part of a roundup. While airfare, hotel lodging, and car rental must be considered, they can still make for a fun yet meaningful weekend or vacation getaway.
